Now here is a bit of information that should reveal the consensus of opinion of the American people. There is a petition loacated at Petitionpetition.com asking for signatures to urge the Parole board not to grant Leonard a Parole. It has about 550 signatures in the two months it has been online. Thats 275 signatures a month or 9 signatures per day.
I have seen petitions to free Leonard get more signatures in an hour then this petition has gotten in two months.
First thing that comes to notice is the sponsor of the petition its the "No Parole Peltir Association" Thats not a typo in my part folks, thats the way it's listed. Indicative that it is probably an FBI agent.
Now if you view the signatures, you will discover some very interesting facts. The majority of the signees who allow their signatures to be viewed are law enforcement personnel, and the majority of them are either active or retired FBI agents and their families.
Some of the "signatures" are not signatures at all but people posting how they feel about the petition (and it ain't good!)
Half of the petitioners will not list their names. What are they afraid of, The Indians? Hell if you oppose something, stand up and be counted. If you are ashamed of your actions, then don't do it.
I think the person who started that petition has done more to prove that the outstanding majority of Americans do NOT want Leonard unjustly imprisoned.
If you want to let them know how you feel about it, log and use the form fields to tell them. Just don't use naughty words.
