Leonard Peltier is a Political Prisoner of the United States Government.
This is not an idle, unfounded statement. It is backed by hard substantiated fact, court transcripts, and the FBI's own reports, reluctancy released because of lawsuits through the Freedom Of Information Act.
In spite of revelations in Appeals Courts, that the "evidence" used to convict him was obtained by perjury of FBI agents, planting and tampering with evidence, alteration of official reports, intimidation of witnesses to subjourn perjury, he remains in federal prison, serving two consecutive life terms!
Amnesty International. numerous civil rights commissions and hundreds of people who have investigated Leonards case are 100% unanamous in stating that Leonard was not given a fair trial, that the facts of the case do not prove any guilt and that he unjustly confined for a crime which has never been proven.
The government itself has finally admitted that they do not know who killed the two FBI Agents.

Any person with a sense of decency and justice should be enraged after reading the evidence presented and should rise up to hold the government responsible and take action to reverse it.
What action? Petitions do not work, neither do the reports of responsible agencies. There is only one thing that will work, and we have the power to do that.
First, bookmark this and the other sites that present the facts on the Peltier case. Show them to your friends and have them do the same.
Send a letter to the President demanding an immediate pardon and apology for Leonard Peltier and refuse to vote for re-election if he does not comply.
Write to your Congressmen and Senators, demanding an inqiry and Punishemnt for every person who acted in an illegal matter in framing Leonard. Again, let them know that they will not have your vote if they fail to comply.
The politicians have no interest in Justice, nor right and wrong. Their one and only concern is re-election, that is our weapon.
